ATTOCK, MAR 10 /DNA/ – A Majlis-e-Aza in connection with the Day of Strike (Youm-e-Zarbat) of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was held under the auspices of Bazm-e-Imam Mehdi at Imambargah Panjtani in Attock City on the night of 18th Ramadan.
According to details, the Shabeeh Taboot of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) and Sarkar Ghazi Abbas Alamdar were also taken out on the occasion. The Majlis was addressed by renowned religious scholar Allama Farhan Haider Abidi from Karachi and Zafar Hassan Zafari.
Salam was recited by Syed Hassan Rizvi and Syed Kumail Zaidi. As per the schedule of the 18th of Ramadan, arrangements for Iftar and meals were also made for the participants at Imambargah Panjtani.
During the Majlis, mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S.) performed Seena Zani to express their grief over the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (A.S.), while around 11 Matami Sangats presented their condolences.
The organizers stated that the district administration, IESCO, Municipal Committee and Rescue 1122 had been formally informed about the program to ensure necessary arrangements.
They emphasized that in the present situation, maintaining unity and peace is of utmost importance.
At the conclusion of the gathering, a collective prayer was offered for the Eisaal-e-Sawab, forgiveness and elevation of ranks of those who lost their lives in recent incidents in Iran, including the martyr Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei.
