VIENNA, Mar 18: A delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Central Bank Governor, Abdelkader Husrieh, met in Vienna with President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), Elisa Madrazo, on the sidelines of the Global Anti-Fraud Summit 2026.
The two sides discussed means of strengthening cooperation in the areas of financial action and combating fraud, and ways to support Syrian government institutions and develop their capabilities in this field.
A delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Husrieh, takes part in the Global Anti-Fraud Summit 2026 at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna.
The step aims to engaging in international efforts to combat financial crimes and exchange expertise that supports economic stability and transparency.
