ISLAMABAD, Mar 27: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday issued a power suspension programme for Saturday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Rawalpindi City Circle from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dk. Hukam Dad, RIC and Rahimabad feeder areas.
Meanwhile, under the GSO Circle, power supply will remain disrupted from 8:00 am to 06:00 pm in 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri transmission lines.
From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the 132KV transmission line at New Wah Bahter More and surrounding areas will remain without electricity.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time
