SIALKOT, Mar 31: In an ongoing campaign against illegal encroachments, Adnan Bashir Warraich led an operation in Sambrial, where 12 shops were sealed and goods of several encroachers were confiscated in the main bazaar and surrounding areas.
According to AC office spokesperson, the operation was conducted with the assistance of the Municipal Committee and enforcement staff.
Several illegal setups were removed and action was taken against violators.
The assistant commissioner said that shopkeepers had already been directed to remove encroachments voluntarily and keep their goods within their shop limits, warning that strict legal action would be taken in case of non-compliance. He also urged citizens to cooperate with the administration to help keep the city clean and organized.
He added that the anti-encroachment drive would continue on a daily basis without discrimination and no one would be allowed to violate the law.
