MINSK, Apr 1: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and concurrently to Colombia Dmitry Derevinsky presented the copy of his credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio Mapy of Colombia, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to developing constructive interstate dialogue and fruitful bilateral cooperation in a number of promising areas, with an emphasis on trade and economy.
The parties agreed on the need to intensify direct contacts through the foreign affairs ministries, relevant ministries, and organizations.
The parties pledged to continue joint efforts to expand the legal framework of Belarusian-Colombian bilateral relations.
