Bishkek Apr 1: The first regional and international forum “Central Asia: From Productivity to Prosperity: Regional Dialogue” was held in Tashkent.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy Minister Iskender Asylkulov and head of industrial project development department Aigul Sharshenova participated in the forum.
Following the forum, the following documents were signed:
Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in productivity;
Tashkent Declaration on Cooperation in Productivity in Central Asia.
The forum also included working visits to the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, which provided the opportunity to learn about the operations of the Uzbek-Chinese industrial park under construction, an aluminum profile plant, a household appliances plant, and vehicle assembly and production facilities.
