ISLAMABAD, Apr 03: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Rais Ghulam Qadir Marri.
The president, in his message paid tribute to the late leader’s services to the party and his contributions to the democratic struggle, stating that Rais Ghulam Qadir Marri played a valuable role in public service and in strengthening the party.
The president also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, saying that he shared their grief in this difficult time.
He prayed to Allah Almighty for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks in Jannah, and patience for the bereaved family.
