SSC Part-I exams begin under tight security across region

MULTAN, APR 17: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I annual examinations commenced on Friday amid strict security and monitoring arrangements.

According to Controller Examinations Hamid Saeed Bhatto,144,922 candidates were appearing in the exams at 466 centers established across the region.

A total of 4,821 teachers have been deputed to supervise the examination process,while 270 officers have been assigned to special monitoring squads to ensure transparency.

Under directions of the divisional administration, district administrative officers will also inspect examination centers.

Authorities have imposed Section 144 at all centers to maintain law and order.

Officials warned that any disruptive elements would be handed over to police,while strict action would be taken against candidates involved in unfair means.
