BEIRUT, MAY 8: Sirens sounded in northern Israel on Friday, as Hezbollah launched missiles toward Israeli territory. The Israeli Air Force intercepted one launch, while the additional launches fell in open areas.

No injuries or major damage have been reported as a result.

The IDF issued a statement in response to the attack.

The United Arab Emirates’ air defenses engaged with two ballistic missiles and three drones launched from Iran, with three people suffering moderate injuries, the UAE Ministry of Defence posted on X on Friday.
