ISLAMABAD, May 11: The four-day PLAY Tennis Course commenced here at the PTF Tennis Complex on Monday and will continue until May 14.
The course is part of the PTF Coach Education Program. A total of 24 participants from across Pakistan are taking part in this important coaching and development course aimed at promoting grassroots tennis and enhancing coaching standards in the country, said a press release.
Jonathan Stubbs, ITF Development Officer South, South East & East Asia, International Tennis Federation, is on a 5-day official visit to the PTF Tennis Complex, and is overseeing the course activities.
The tutors for the course are: Sara Mansoor-ITF Level-3, Zain Nawab-ITF Level-1, Hamid Niaz-ITF Level-1. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President-PTF, Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail, Secretary General-PTF, and the entire PTF management extended their best wishes to all participants and expressed confidence that the course will play a vital role in the development and promotion of tennis in Pakistan.
