ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation on Thursday morning with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, strongly condemning recent Houthi militia attacks targeting Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.
During the high-level exchanges, Prime Minister Shehbaz denounced the maritime strikes in the strongest terms, characterizing such aggressive actions as completely unacceptable and a severe violation of international legal standards. The Prime Minister emphasized that targeted hostiles against commercial crude carriers pose a direct threat to the freedom of global navigation, compromise international shipping lanes, and gravely jeopardize regional peace and security.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s long-standing strategic alignment with the Kingdom, Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed full solidarity with the Saudi leadership and its public during this critical juncture.
