ISLAMABAD, AUG 10 /DNA/ – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan held the 41st meeting of the Travel Grant and Seminar/Conference Apex Committee to review the applications received under the Travel Grant and Seminar/Conference Support Programmes.
The Apex Committee thoroughly reviewed as many as 73 applications for Travel Grants and 13 applications for Seminar/Conference Support, considering their respective eligibility criteria, academic merit requirements, relevance, and compliance with the prescribed policy and programme guidelines.
The committee’s deliberations reflect HEC’s continued efforts to facilitate researchers, faculty members, and scholars in participating in international academic events and displaying their research at national and international forums. Such initiatives are aimed at enhancing academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, research visibility, and the internationalisation of Pakistan’s higher education sector.
The meeting reaffirmed HEC’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, merit-based, and policy-driven mechanism for extending support to the academic and research community. The decisions taken by the Apex Committee will contribute towards providing timely opportunities to eligible researchers and scholars for academic and professional engagement at national and international platforms.
