​TORONTO / ISLAMABAD: In recognition of his exceptional services to Pakistan across healthcare, academics, philanthropy, and cultural diplomacy, Dr. Mansoor Memon was formally conferred the prestigious civil award Tamgha-i-Imtiaz. The presentation took place during the official Flag Hoisting Ceremony organized by the Consulate General of Pakistan in Toronto to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day.

​The official citation from the Cabinet Division, Government of Pakistan, highlights Dr. Memon as an embodiment of professional excellence and humanitarian commitment. An alumnus of the Aga Khan University of Health Sciences, Dr. Memon is internationally recognized for his expertise in resuscitative science, having served with distinction across Canada, the GCC, and the Middle East. Beyond his clinical practice, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening ties between Canada and Pakistan through active engagement with parliamentarians, policy makers, and diaspora organizations.

​In Canada, Dr. Memon established a Cardiac Diagnostics Center and a family medical practice in Mississauga. His dedication to youth and professional development is demonstrated through his mentorship of 26 Pakistani medical graduates into Canadian residency programs. His humanitarian work extends globally, including efforts to secure the release of Pakistani prisoners  and raising awareness for Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.

​The conferment was formally announced by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Independence Day, with the official presentation held in Canada before prominent diplomats, Canadian parliamentarians, civic leaders, and community members.
