The match remained scoreless through a tightly contested first half, with both goalkeepers and defensive units standing firm. The deadlock was finally broken in the third quarter when Argentina’s Tomas Domene found the back of the net at the 40:39 mark, giving the South Americans a 1-0 lead heading into the final 15 minutes.
