ISLAMABAD , 30 AUG (DNA) — The second batch of the Bano Qabil Programme, initiated by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan to equip young people with modern technology and professional skills, has formally commenced at Razi Hospital, CBR Town, Islamabad.
A ceremony was held to mark the launch, which was attended by Alkhidmat Foundation Islamabad President Altaf Sher as the chief guest, along with Campus Coordinator Aneel Younis and a large number of students.
Addressing the ceremony, Altaf Sher said that the Bano Qabil Programme is an important initiative aimed at equipping the younger generation with skills compatible with the demands of the modern era and enabling them to earn respectable livelihoods. He said Alkhidmat Foundation is committed to empowering young people by providing them with free and quality technical and digital education.
Referring to the vision of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, he said that the youth are the most valuable asset of Pakistan and that investing in their education, training and professional capabilities is essential for ensuring a brighter future for the country. He added that the Bano Qabil Programme seeks to develop young people’s expertise in modern technology and open up new employment and freelancing opportunities for them.
Campus Coordinator Aneel Younis said that 201 students successfully completed their courses and graduated from the first batch, while 300 students have registered for the second batch. He said the programme is providing training in various digital and technical fields in line with current market requirements.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the participating students described the Bano Qabil Programme as an excellent opportunity for the youth and appreciated the efforts of Alkhidmat Foundation. They expressed their determination to utilize the skills acquired through the programme to create employment opportunities for themselves and contribute to the development and progress of Pakistan. — DNA
