RAWALPINDI, Sep 03 (DNA):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF)on Thursday conducted two operations in Rawalpindi and Rahim Yar Khan and arrested one accused, seizing 107.6 kilograms(kg) of narcotics worth over Rs 14.9 million.
In an operation at a courier office on Murree Road, Rawalpindi, ANF recovered 5.6 kg of heroin concealed in clothes inside a parcel destined for the United Kingdom.
In an inter-provincial drug interdiction operation near Zahir Pir Interchange, Rahim Yar Khan, ANF seized 102 kgs of hashish from a vehicle and arrested the accused.
The ANF registered cases under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997.
