ISLAMABAD, Sept 20 (DNA): President Asif Ali Zardari has extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of the country’s 35th Independence Day.
According to a statement issued by the Media Wing of the President’s Secretariat, in his felicitation message addressed to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, President Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan and Armenia have written a new chapter in their bilateral relations.
On the basis of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries last August, the President expressed confidence that Pakistan and Armenia will further strengthen their ties and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of shared interest for the peace, development, and prosperity of their peoples.
