ISLAMABAD, SEP 22 /DNA/ – A delegation of the Pakistan-Romania Business Council called on Dan Stoenescu, Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan, here in the federal capital, according to a statement issued on Monday.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the ambassador about its upcoming visit to Romania, where the Council plans to interact with Romanian businesspeople with a view to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The delegation apprised the ambassador of the Council’s preparations for the visit and its objectives, which include exploring new avenues of trade and investment cooperation and enhancing people-to-people and business-to-business linkages.
Ambassador Stoenescu welcomed the initiative and underscored the importance of sustained engagement between the private sectors of Pakistan and Romania. He assured the delegation of the embassy’s full support in facilitating the visit and promoting stronger economic ties.
The Pakistan-Romania Business Council reiterated its commitment to serving as a bridge between the business communities of the two nations, with the aim of boosting bilateral trade and fostering long-term partnerships.
