KARACHI, 02 NOV (DNA) — Pakistan International Airlines’ Board announced the appointment of Adrian Hamilton-Manns as the Chief Executive Officer of the national carrier. He assumed charge of the office on Monday.

Hamilton-Manns brings a wealth of leadership and strategic experience within the global aviation sector. His appointment marks a pivotal chapter in PIA’s ongoing transformation. He has to his credit managing three airlines as a CEO, and is considered a world expert in transformation and reviving airlines. His professional experience spans over 30 years.

As Hamilton-Manns assumes the role of CEO, the consortium and the entire management board extend their deepest gratitude to the outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Amir Hayat, for his outstanding service and dedication to this vital national role.

The foundation he has laid will be critical to the carrier’s future commercial viability and success.

“We are immensely grateful for AVM Amir Hayat’s steadfast commitment to the national flag carrier during a highly complex transitional period,” Chairman of the PIA Board stated. “As we welcome Adrian to the helm, we are confident that his extensive industry expertise will accelerate our strategic objectives, elevate our service standards, and drive sustainable profitability in this new era for PIA.” — DNA
