ISLAMABAD, JUL 09 (DNA) – Despite the fact the Capital Development Authority is conducteding anti-encroachment operations, the kiosks have started emerging again across the city.
The CDA conducts operations against illegal constructions and encroachments in the city. The Authority demolish several illegal structures build illegally on the government land.
An official of the directorate concerned namely Tahir Usman told media that these kiosks must be provided with licences otherwise it is almost impossible to stop them from operating in the city. Corruption can be curtailed in the Enforcement Wing of the CDA only in this way, he added.
When randomly three sectors were selected to know whether these kiosks have started again working or nor; it was found that these koisks have started working in the fwderal capital. It sounds that the relevant authorities are not serious in sorting out this issue as their corrupt money diminish in this way. = DNA
