PESHAWAR, NOV 02 (DNA) — The authorities at the Peshawar Airport on Wednesday misbehaved with foreign journalists who came to Pakistan to attend International Peace and Sports Conference arranged by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority.

Foreign female journalist Nargiz Mahmudzade from Europe and Sri Lanka’s Ram Prakash were insulted during the body search process at the airport. Nargiz who came to Peshawar with her father complained about the rude behavior of the staff. Both the journalists missed their flights.

Local journalist organisations announced to stage a protest against the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) personnel who shifted the blame for the whole saga to the Airport Security Force (ASF) staff.

ANF officials clarified that they did not carry out the body search, rather it was ANF lady officer who performed the search. =DNA
