KARACHI, DEC 27 (DNA) — Good news for electricity consumers of Karachi as the Nepra has slashed the power rate by Rs7.43 per unit.
The Nepra held a hearing on Tuesday regarding monthly fuel adjustment charges for the month of November and gave a go-ahead for a healthy decrease in the electricity price. The drop in power rate will not eb applicable to lifeline consumers.
During the hearing, the Nepra chairman was the consumers will suffer further if electricity is not supplied to K-Electri by the Centre. The details of the Nepra decision will be released later. = DNA
