New Delhi, AUG 12: Abhishek Bachchan has reportedly addressed ongoing rumours about his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Recent speculation arose after Abhishek ‘liked’ a post related to divorce and Aishwarya attended a wedding alone last month. Although the couple has not officially commented on these rumours, multiple publications suggest that Abhishek spoke to an international media outlet about the rumours.
According to The Times of India, Abhishek responded to the speculation in a conversation with Bollywood UK Media by displaying his wedding ring and stating “still married”. He is alleged to have further added: “I don’t have anything to say to you all about that (the rumours). You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand why you do it. You have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it.”
Abhishek and Aishwarya, who have been married for 17 years and share a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan, have largely kept their marriage private in recent years. Their social media interactions have been limited to occasional posts on special occasions, like wishing each other on special days such as birthdays and anniversary.
