Acting U.S. Ambassador Natalie Baker Calls on Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: MAY 16 (DNA):Acting U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Natalie Baker called on Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad. Matters of mutual interest, Pakistan-U.S. relations, and enhancing bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting. Moreover, the situation following the Pakistan-India ceasefire was also discussed.

Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump and the U.S. Ambassador for their key role in the Pakistan-India ceasefire. He said that the credit for the ceasefire between two nuclear powers goes to President Donald Trump, who saved the region from a catastrophic disaster and rendered a service to humanity.

Mohsin Naqvi further stated that Pakistan welcomes President Trump’s positive views regarding the country’s leadership. He emphasized that Pakistan wishes to further enhance mutual cooperation with the United States.

Acting U.S. Ambassador Natalie Baker said that the U.S. enjoys excellent relations with Pakistan and will continue its cooperation in various sectors. Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha was also present on the occasion.
