PESHAWAR: Another Afghan journalist has reportedly been arrested in Pakistan amid the ongoing crackdown on undocumented Afghan refugees involving forced detentions and deportations.

According to sources, Afghan journalist Javed Qureshi said in an audio message that he had been arrested by police in Attock district, Punjab.

His arrest comes as operations against Afghan refugees have intensified across the country following eight days of clashes between the Taliban and Pakistani security forces along the border region.
