ISLAMABAD, OCT 12: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) central spokesperson Shazia Atta Marri has asked the Afghan leadership to abandon an Indian agenda and warned that Pakistan will not allow its national interests or sovereignty to be violated.
Marri accused the Afghan government of supporting those who attacked Pakistan. She said security forces face daily attacks in border areas and that Pakistan has a right to respond to any direct assault on its territory.
She accused the Afghan leadership of following an anti‑Pakistan narrative while “sitting in India’s cradle” and said attacks on Pakistani soil receive training and finance from India.
Marri added that millions of Afghan refugees still enjoy Pakistan’s hospitality despite the tensions, and warned that becoming a proxy of India would cause serious damage to the Afghan leadership.
She condemned the “ugly face” of Indian rulers on the global stage, which she said is stained by the massacre of Muslims.
