ISLAMABAD, JAN 15 (DNA):Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has taken a historic and modern step by announcing the complete digitization of the process for issuing degrees, diplomas and certificates.
Under this new system for students admitted in Fall 2024 and onward degrees or certificates will be automatically issued, eliminating the need for students to submit separate applications.
This will make the process extremely easy, fast and transparent.
Furthermore students who enrolled in any university program from Spring 2021 onward and have completed their academic program can now submit their degree/certificate requests online through the university’s CMS portal under the “Student Service Request” section, using the new degree form instead of submitting manual application forms.
This system will not only save time but also make the process more transparent and convenient.
It should be noted that for students admitted in Fall 2020 or earlier, the issuance of degrees and certificates will continue according to the previously established procedures.
Regarding this initiative, the Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr Nasir Mahmood stated that digitizing the issuance of degrees and certificates is an important step taken with students’ convenience in mind.
“This measure will not only save time but also make the university’s administrative system more efficient. Our aim is to enable students to easily obtain certificates of their academic achievements without any additional hassle or delay,” he added.
