Ambassador of Portugal to Visit Sindh and Karachi for Diplomatic, Development, and Cultural Engagements

ISLAMABAD, NOV 20 /DNA/: The Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, Frederico Silva, is set to undertake an official visit to Sindh and Karachi from 21 to 26 November 2025, featuring a series of high-level meetings, cultural, and economic engagements, and field visits designed to strengthen Portugal–Pakistan bilateral cooperation.

In Karachi, the Ambassador will meet with key political, religious, cultural, and social leaders, including the Chief Minister of Sindh, Archbishop of Karachi, members of the Karachi Goan community, and various cultural and community leaders. His program also includes visits to the Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum, historic cultural sites, World Culture Festival 2025 at Karachi Arts Council, and the Adab Literary Festival, and meeting with the business community.

The program also includes a series of visits organized by Aga Khan Development Network in Karachi and District Thatta to engage with communities and appreciate the development initiatives led by AKDN agencies. He will visit education and health institutions, infrastructure projects, and interact with students, faculty, and leadership at AKES, Aga Khan University, and AKU-IED.
