RAWALPINDI (DNA): Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare and Population Welfare Dr. Jamal Nasir has said that the repair and carpeting work of 36 roads including Asghar Mall Road will be started soon and it will be completed as soon as possible with ‘Mohsin Speed’ and another long-standing demand of the people of Rawalpindi will be met.

He said this while meeting a delegation of Anjuman Tajran Asghar Mall Road under the leadership of Central General Secretary Anjuman Tajran Rawalpindi City Tahir Taj Bhatti.  Group leader Sheikh Usman, Patron Amir Hussain, Goint Secretary Muhammad Abbas and Vice President Abdul Samad were also included in the delegation.

Provincial Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir said that the establishment of a Business Facilitation Center in Rawalpindi will be set up soon by which the process of investment in the province is being made easy and convenient.  He said that representatives of 20 federal and provincial departments will be present in the facilitation center and all necessary NOCs for investment will be provided within two weeks.  He said that Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the first Business Facilitation Center in Lahore a few days ago and such centers will also be established in Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala and other big cities.

 Provincial Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir said that 25 schools are being upgraded in Rawalpindi and this includes Government Muslim Higher Secondary School and similarly boys colleges are also being upgraded.  He said that funds of 10 crore rupees are being provided for the upgradation of parks in Rawalpindi to provide healthy entertainment to the citizens.
