Anosh Ahmed Brings Together Leading Naat Khawans for Mehfil-e-Milad at Karachi Press Club

KARACHI: On the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), businessman and philanthropist Anosh Ahmed organized a grand Mehfil-e-Milad at the Karachi Press Club. The event was held in memory of his late father, Nadeem Muhammad Ahmed, as Eesal-e-Sawab, and brought together journalists, media professionals, families, and well-known naat khawans in a moving display of love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The gathering was hosted in collaboration with the Karachi Press Club’s leadership and created a deeply spiritual environment. The program began with recitations of hamd and naat, as respected naat khawans took the stage one by one. Their soulful tributes filled the hall with devotion and brought tears to the eyes of many attendees.

A major highlight of the event was the presence of the legendary Alhaj Siddique Ismail, whose voice has long been a symbol of devotion in Pakistan. Along with him, well-known naat reciters Faisal Hassan Naqshbandi, Muhammad Asad Ayub, Muhammad Zubair, and Sumair Ahmed also participated. In a special addition, several journalists who are also naat reciters—Hafiz Salman Tariq, Ayaz Siddiqui, Wajid Hussain Ansari, Sibt-e-Hassan, and Shafiq Ahmed—performed at the Mehfil, blending media and spirituality in a unique way. The evening was hosted by senior journalist A.H. Khanzada, who guided the audience smoothly through each segment.

During the event, Anosh Ahmed addressed the audience and reminded them that Eid Milad-un-

Nabi is not just about celebration, but also about reflecting on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He emphasized values of unity, compassion, and love, saying that true devotion is shown through action and service. He expressed gratitude to the Karachi Press Club for supporting the gathering and helping to make it a success.

Adding to the joy of the night, a five-star Umrah package was announced for one lucky journalist through a ballot. Shields were also distributed among the participating naat khawans and Karachi Press Club management in recognition of their efforts. The evening ended with a traditional feast (langar), where guests shared food and conversation in a warm and welcoming environment.

Beyond this event, Anosh Ahmed is widely known for his charitable work in Pakistan, Dubai, and the United States. His efforts include free healthcare, food distribution, disaster relief, and support for underprivileged families. By organizing gatherings like the Mehfil-e-Milad, he continues to bring together faith and service, setting an example of community-focused leadership.
