YEREVAN, SEPT 2: Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani as part of his official visit to Georgia. According to “Armenpress” , RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan wrote this on his Facebook page. “During the meeting, we emphasized the activation and expansion of cooperation in the field of military education, as well as the importance of establishing long-term and stable peace in the region.Â
We have reached an agreement to study the possibilities of further expansion of bilateral defense cooperation and inclusion of new areas through mutual visits of different groups.We also discussed a number of other issues related to Armenia-Georgia cooperation in the field of defense and regional security,” Papikyan wrote.Â
