Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad also congratulates newly-elected office-bearers

ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gillani, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah, and Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad, along with representatives of various sports federations, have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected office bearers of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA).
In their congratulatory messages, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Chairman Gillani praised RISJA as an active and well-organized body of sports journalists. They acknowledged the association’s pivotal role in promoting sports journalism, offering professional training, and safeguarding the rights of journalists.
Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah and Chairman Youth Programme Rana Mashhood commended RISJA’s commendable contribution to the development of sports journalism. They assured that the government remains committed to supporting journalists and resolving the challenges faced by the media community.
Pakistan People’s Party Secretary General Nayyar Bukhari and Central Spokesperson Shazia Marri also sent their felicitations. They reaffirmed the PPP’s longstanding support for democracy and a free press and assured full cooperation in promoting positive and constructive activities.
President of Pakistan Boxing Federation Colonel (R) Nasir Tung, Secretary General Major Irfan Younas, Secretary General of Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Rana Muhammad Sarwar, and Chairperson of Islamabad Olympic Association Begum Ishrat Ashraf also congratulated the newly elected RISJA officials. They expressed hope that the new team will play a significant role in the promotion of sports through honest reporting and insightful analysis.
