BAKU, Jun 26 (AZERTAC/APP/DNA):An Azerbaijani delegation consisting of representatives from the DOST Agency and the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population (MLSPP) is participating in the 33rd European Social Conference organized by the European Social Network in Aarhus, Denmark.
During the conference, Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, and Vugar Behbudov, Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency, held meetings with Christian Fillet, Chair of the European Social Network, as well as with heads of social protection institutions from several countries.
The discussions focused on the successes of recent social reforms in Azerbaijan, the advantages of the DOST concept, the areas of activity of the Social Services Agency, and social services provided to vulnerable groups. Exchanges were held regarding prospects for future cooperation in these fields.
The 33rd European Social Services Conference is dedicated to digitalization in social services transformation, as well as supporting personal development and social connections, exchanging experiences, and shaping new ideas for transformation. The conference, the European Social Network’s main annual event with nearly 1,000 participants, offers an opportunity to share innovations in the social service field.
