Azma Bokhari assails CM Gandapur for not visiting Kurram

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari assailed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for not visiting Kurram in two months.

Expressing her thoughts, Bokhari said, “The writ of the KP government in the province has ended. The attack on the deputy commissioner despite the Kurram agreement is condemnable.”

“There are some forces who do not want to see the restoration of peace in Kurram. The provincial government is focusing more on the prisoner of the Adiala jail rather than concentrating on the uplift of the province,” maintained Bokhari.

She took a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “The PTI has been ruling the KP for the last 12 years. The standard of living of the KP people has fallen down in the past 12 years.”

“The KP is facing the problems in connection with the law and order, terrorism, and unemployment,” she added.

Bokhari said: “The PTI has given the Pashtuns nothing with the exception of a sense of deprivation.”
