Bilawal asks PML-N leaders to contest election from Sindh

ISLAMABAD, DEC 10: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari asked on Wednesday the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders to contest the election from Sindh.

Expressing his thoughts, the former foreign minister said that it would be great to see if Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will contest the election from Sindh. “I would like to see the conduct of referendums ahead of the elections,” he said.

Recalling the Pakistan-India war, Bhutto-Zardari said, “Pakistan had made it clear to the world that those who will try to harm the country will bear the brunt. Even today, Pakistan is facing threats from India. The terrorists used to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan. They get involved in terrorism and return.”

Bhutto-Zardari acknowledged the role of the Pakistan Army, saying, “Our valiant army is coping with the challenges.” All the challenges that exist within the country were also being tackled, added Bhutto-Zardari.

“I stand with my country and army. The political forces attack the institutions with their non-political attitude on the social media,” the former foreign minister said.

Bhutto-Zardari urged the political parties to carry out political activities within the constitutional limits. He took a jibe at the opponents, saying, “One of the political parties is working on the principles of dajjal.”

“They want to create rift between the masses and armed forces. We want to ask them to refrain away from spreading unrest in the country,” Bhutto-Zardari maintained.
