Lahore Corps Commander Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah said on Tuesday that Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos showcased to the world the bravery and professional excellence of the Pakistani nation and its armed forces.
According to details, during a special session with faculty members and students at the University of the Punjab (PU), Lieutenant General Shah spoke about the operation’s significance and its lasting impact. He emphasised that the recent conflict with India highlighted the collective faith, unity and discipline of the nation, which led to a historic victory.
The corps commander also observed student-created paintings themed on the concept of Marka-e-Haq. He praised their artistic expression and patriotism.
On his arrival at the PU, Lieutenant General Shah received a warm welcome. He described his visit to Pakistan’s oldest and largest university as an honour and paid tribute to the teachers. He referred to them [teachers] as the architects of the nation.
He said that the crucial role of information technology and modern knowledge in recent warfare. The corps commander underscored how these elements had become more important than ever.
“Young people are the evidence of our country’s bright future. Together, we must work to make our beloved homeland safer and stronger,” the corps commander added.
