Businessmen ready to implement austerity steps

Islamabad ( )  Chairman Clean and Green Islamabad Movement and Patron-in-Chief of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, stated that the business community will fully cooperate in implementing government directives to improve discipline, business activities, and civic facilities.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Additional Deputy Commissioner General Islamabad, Sahibzada Yousaf, SSP Operations Islamabad Police, Ali Qazi, and SHO Kohsar, Malik Asif. On this occasion, Chairman Police Committee ICCI, Saif ur Rehman Khan, along with Haris Bakhtawari, Raja Faizan, and others were also present.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the implementation of government directives concerning market timings, and various proposals were considered to ensure their effective enforcement.

Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari said that the business community has always supported government policies in the national interest and will continue to extend full cooperation in this regard. He suggested reducing the working hours of government offices so that people can complete their daily affairs earlier. He also proposed that bank timings be set from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, enabling citizens to manage their banking needs and subsequently carry out shopping and other household activities with ease.

He emphasized that a coordinated strategy is essential for improving business activities and public convenience, and that the business community stands firmly alongside the government in this effort.
