ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet meeting is likely today. Sources close to this development said that due to a non-consensus on the draft amendment the Cabinet meeting was delayed. Sources say the special committee formed to review the package proposed to pend the matter. The opposition was of the view that the govt should not do any legislation in a haste.
Sources claimed the opposition showed a soft corner for the establishment of a constitutional court however it did not accede to the proposal of extension in the tenure of judges.
