PESHAWAR, NOV 26 (APP/DNA): A complete video compiled from various CCTV footage of the November 24 suicide attack at the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters has surfaced.
According to police sources, security agencies combined the CCTV footage of the attackers to prepare the complete video. The footage was obtained from CCTV cameras installed at different locations.
In the video, all three attackers can be seen arriving on a single motorcycle. The attackers can be seen coming down the road from the wrong direction.
The video shows that as they approached the FC Headquarters, the attackers parked the motorcycle in a nearby market. The suicide bomber wearing a cap and a shawl can be seen in the footage.
The suicide bomber is seen waiting outside the headquarters for quite some time.
In the video compiled from the CCTV footage, the suicide bomber can also be seen walking from a short distance toward the FC Headquarters.
The video shows that the first suicide bomber detonated explosives at the gate. After the explosion, in the smoke and dust, two attackers entered the FC Headquarters. Once inside, an armored vehicle blocked their way.
Because of the armored vehicle, the attackers moved toward the parking area. They can be seen repeatedly trying to exit the parking area. The footage also shows the moment of the explosion in the parking area.
Three days ago, three FC personnel were martyred and 11 people were injured in the suicide attack on the FC Headquarters in Peshawar, while all three terrorists were killed.
Yesterday, KP Inspector General Zulfiqar Hameed said during a press conference that significant progress had been made in the investigation. He added that the attackers appeared to be Afghan nationals, though the incident is being investigated from all angles.
