ISLAMABAD: (27June, 2025): In line with the visionary directions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the leadership of Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and DG Civil Defense Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and supervision of Talat Mahmood, Acting Chairman CDA, the Directorate of Sports and Culture CDA,  has successfully auctioned 5 premium Padel Tennis sites across Islamabad at a substantial monthly revenue of PKR 7.6 million.

The auction process followed the strict adherence to principles of transparency and fair competition, which attracted enhanced interest from the investors and business community. The monthly lease rates achieved for each site are as follows:

1. Sector F-8: PKR 21 Lacs per month

2. Sector G-5: PKR 21 Lacs per month

3. Sector F-9: PKR 14.5 Lacs per month

4. Sector G-11: PKR 11 Lacs per month

5. Sector G-8: PKR 9 Lacs per month

CDA achieved optimal market value for these prime sports facilities through a process that was completely transparent and competitive, fulfilling our core objective of maximizing public resource utilization for the benefits  of the citizens of Islamabad. The significant monthly revenue of PKR 7.6 million will be reinvested into further developing sports infrastructure and recreational facilities across the city.

Acting Chairman CDA said that this initiative aligns perfectly with the broader vision of promoting a healthy, active lifestyle among residents by facilitating private sector investment in high-quality sports amenities like Padel Tennis, which is rapidly gaining popularity in Pakistan.
