CDA Chairman visits Jinnah Convention Center

ISLAMABAD, AUG 24 /DNA/ – Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited the Jinnah Convention Center on Saturday and conducted a detailed review of the ongoing renovation work. The Senior CDA officers accompanied him during the visit.

During the briefing, it was explained to Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa that the renovation work at the Convention Center is being carried out 24/7 under the supervision of the architects and the engineers. The Jinnah Convention Center is being upgraded and uplifted to meet international standards for the international events in Pakistan. The uplift work includes the renovation of the main hall as well as the adjacent committee rooms and corridors.

The briefing also highlighted that under this upgradation project, the Convention Center is undergoing complete overhaul and revamp including flooring, building repairs, painting, and glass work. Additionally, furniture and carpets are being improved. Furthermore, attractive landscaping around the Jinnah Convention Center, including tree plantation, horticultural work, and lighting, is also in progress.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that the goal of the revamp and renovation is to ensure the Jinnah Convention Center is well-prepared to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting as well as other international and national mega events at Islamabad in future.
