ISLAMABAD , DEC 08 (DNA) — The Clean and Green Islamabad Movement has created a new wave of cleanliness in the federal capital, and citizens have praised the CGIs’ efforts in cleaning the parks, calling it an exemplary model of public service. Under the leadership of Chairman Ahsen Zafar Bakhtawari, the Clean and Green Islamabad Movement team not only cleaned the parks in sectors F-8/1, 2, 3, and 4 but also instilled in citizens the importance of cleanliness and the commitment to protect their environment.
Ahsen Zafar Bakhtawari personally loaded waste-filled bags into his vehicle and took them to the disposal site, demonstrating his dedication and active participation. This effort was appreciated by the participants. During the waste-picking activity held yesterday, people from various walks of life, including students, local residents, and volunteer organizations, actively participated.
The participants cleaned the parks, cleared the areas around trees, and distributed pamphlets to raise awareness. Citizens were also informed about the use of biodegradable waste bags and proper waste disposal methods. Ahsen Zafar Bakhtawari stated that keeping the environment clean is a guarantee of a safe and healthy future for our generations.
The goal of the Clean and Green Islamabad Movement is not only to clean but also to involve every citizen in this movement to make Islamabad a model city. Participants of the campaign expressed their admiration for Ahsen Bakhtawari and his team’s efforts.
