LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday announced Rs1 million each for the flood-stricken families in Pindi Bhattian and Hafizabad.
According to details, Punjab senior minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has made this announcement on the behalf of CM Maryam, during the former’s meeting with the flood-hit people.
“The aid cheques will be distributed among the flood affectees on the behalf of the Punjab chief minister,” said Marriyum.
Following an announcement, the flood-hit people have expressed their gratitude to the Punjab government and chanted the slogan in favour of the CM.
