LAHORE, AUG 31: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has remained active among flood-affected citizens for the fourth consecutive day.
According to details surfaced on Sunday, she arrived at the flood relief camp set up at DPS in Kasur, where she offered comfort to displaced women, visited the sick, and inspected the quality of food being provided at the camp.
At the temporary hospital, she met with patients and embraced children in her arms with affection.
During a visit to the flood relief camp in Sheikhupura Nau, the chief minister supported distressed women and personally carried affected children to encourage them.
CM Maryam also reviewed arrangements by police, rescue services and civil defence at the relief camps, and praised the efforts of Rescue, police, PDMA and all concerned departments.
She expressed her gratitude for the role of Pakistan Army personnel in rescue operations.
On her way back, the chief minister stopped at a fruit vendor’s stall near Talwar Post in Sheikhpura Nau, embraced a woman there and bought guavas.
