RAWALPINDI, Jul 09 (DNA):Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Engineer Aamir Khattak here on Tuesday reviewed implementation of flour price reduction.
Chairing a meeting, the Commissioner said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, the prices of flour were being reduced significantly in all districts of Punjab.
The retail price of 10 kg flour bag is Rs 900, while the price of 20 kg bag is Rs 1800.
The price of 10 kg bag of fortified flour is Rs 920, while the price of 20 kg bag is Rs 1840.
The price magistrates should ensure the immediate implementation of this price to pass the benefit of the reduction in the price of flour to the public, the Commissioner said.
Engineer Aamir Khattak said that the Price Punjab App is available for public and people can register their complaints regarding overcharging on the price App.
According to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, practical steps were being taken to provide maximum relief to the people, he said.
Show-cause notices should be issued to the price control magistrates on poor performance, the Commissioner directed the authorities concerned.
