Ansar Mahmood Bhatti, the Chief Editor of Daily Islamabad Post,(www.islamabadpost.com.pk ) Diplomatic News Agency (DNA) (www.dnanews.com.pk) and Publisher/Chief Editor of CENTRELINE magazine is a career journalist having an experience of over 35 years in journalism. He has worked in almost all leading English language newspapers of Pakistan. In addition, he has contributed hundreds of columns to leading Urdu language newspapers as well.
He started his English journalism career in 1988 with Daily The Muslim as district correspondent in Gujrat. In 1993 he moved to Islamabad and joined Pakistan Observer as Sub-Editor / Columnist.
In 1995 he switched over to daily he Muslim as Senior Sub Editor. Later on, he joined Daily The Nation in 1997 as City Editor and left The Nation in 2002 to join The News International as columnist (2002-2005). In 2005 he joined Khabrain group as Columnist/ Analyst.
In 2010 he was appointed Resident Editor of daily The Post, Islamabad. Apart from Resident Editor’s assignment, he was also assigned to host English TV show, Diplomatic Enclave featuring interviews of Ambassadors and High Commissioners based in Pakistan, at Channel Five.

Books: Ansar is the author of two books on the European Union, one written in English and the other in Urdu. His third and fourth books, currently in the process of publication, will feature interviews with over 300 Ambassadors and High Commissioners and collection of columns penned down in last five years.
