ATTOCK, FEB 7 (DNA): A police constable was martyred and another was seriously injured in firing by unknown armed men on a patrol police party near Hatian post in Hazro area of Attock on Friday.
According to police, constable Qadeer was martyred while constable Nusrat was injured in the gun attack.
After the incident of firing, District Police Officer Ghayas Gull reached the crime scene with heavy police force.
The entire area has been cordoned off and police launched a hunt to trace the attackers.
Police teams are continuing the search operation to arrest 3 unknown accused.
The body of the martyred policeman has been shifted to Hazro Hospital while the injured cop was referred to Rawalpindi in critical condition.
