MULTAN, Feb 9 (DNA): Sessions Court has issued a ‘robkar’ for release of
the prime accused in Qandeel Baloch murder case, Waseem, from New
Central Jail Multan.
Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) Multan bench had acquitted the
accused in the murder case on February 14. However, his release from the
jail was halted till the issuance of a ‘robkar’ by the court concerned.
On the occasion, mother of Waseem said that she had lost her daughter;
she did not want to lose her son too.
It is to be noted here that Waseem has been in prison since inception of
the case against him about five years and seven months ago. DNA
