ISLAMABAD, JUN 11: A crackdown has been launched against individuals displaying weapons and posting related images on social media. According to details on Wednesday, the Crime Control Department (CCD) has arrested six suspects from Narowal and Nankana Sahib.
According to a CCD spokesperson, the operation was carried out based on reports obtained through social media monitoring. Four suspects were arrested from Narowal, while two were apprehended in Nankana Sahib.
A significant cache of modern rifles, pistols and ammunition was recovered from the suspects.
Police have registered cases against the individuals and further investigations are underway.
