Cruel tax notification issued for Islamabad should be withdrawn immediately: Ajmal Baloch

ISLAMABAD, JUN 16 /DNA/ – Ajmal Baloch President of All Pakistan Anjuman Tajran and Traders Action Committee Islamabad, Secretary and Advisor to President ICCI Khalid Chaudhry, Bhara Kahu Central Traders Union President Raja Zahid Dhaniyal and Zone Five Traders Union Central President Chaudhry Rasht Ali have said that the government has loaded taxes in the budget due to which it has become difficult to do business.

Due to the attitude of the government, there is going to be a storm of inflation in the next few days.  Meanwhile, MCI has issued a notification for new sanitation tax in rural areas.

In which at least sixty thousand rupees per year for small shops.  One lakh and eighty thousand rupees per year for restaurants, twelve lakh rupees per year for cash and carry and similar cruel tax for other types of shops have been imposed.  However, the authority of the administrator has been questioned in the property tax case.

This type of cruel tax is absolutely not accepted.  Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa take to take notice of the MCI matters and withdraw the notification immediately.  It seems that a conspiracy is being made to worsen the situation in Islamabad in order to instigate protests against the current government in the capital. At this time, the situation is completely different.

People are facing difficulties in these situations, should they feed the children or pay taxes. The traffic police has doubled the driving license fee. Every department has doubled the rates of many types of taxes.  Take notice lest this happens, the situation of Azad Kashmir should not arise here.
